My first Cat. 4 road race ended in a close 2nd place. It was a long day with no one in the field willing to do any work since there was a sizeable climb. Frustrating to say the least. The final came down to 5 or 6 guys and I was completely boxed out. Just when I thought there was no getting around I hear Coach Fraley yelling at me to dig deep. I found room to the inside and came within a half wheel for second place. Good result for my first cat. 4 race.

Got a falt on tjhe first lap about 5-7 miles in. Crap!!! Great ride by Tony "Real Deal" Viton in his frst Cat. 4 race. Tony was narrowly beaten to the line for an impressive second place. Awesome!! Remeber his name, he's on his way!!!! Blair
