The morning of race day saw temperatures in the 30's and snow on the ground which resulted in the race starts being posponed by 1 hour. By the time the masters race started at 11 it was turning out to be a very nice day.
As some people were scared of by the morning weather we started out with only 12 in the field.
The race started out with a rather relaxed pace. When we hit the first climb about 8 miles in I accelerated up the climb. The only one to come with me was Scott Young but soon thereafter I was by myself. The next 32 miles of the race was a solo TT.
Cogratulations to Mike Scott for a strong 2nd (also mainly a solo effort) and Scott for 3rd.
