Day 1 brutal heavy rain from CBus to Circleville. Road to C'Ville with Mitch at a really solid pace. Just before C'Ville the rain ended and the headwinds kicked in. Dr. Pete went by us just outside of C'Ville and we rode together until Chillicothe. Rode the last 50+ miles solo into Portsmouth.
Day 2 heavy, wet fog all the way to Chillicothe, then the fog cleared and a gentle tailwind kicked in. Complete solo effort for the entire day. A couple of guys jumped on my wheel for the last 15 miles, but they had no interest in taking any pulls.
My century split for both days was an identical 5:05. Pretty pleased with that time especially for day 2.
